Task Mining project

A Task Mining project uses information about recorded user actions for business process analysis, for example, to identify bottlenecks, search for automation candidates, or visualize processes.

The main workflow steps in Task Mining are:

  1. Record user actions and upload logs into Process Intelligence via the Recording Service or manually.
  2. Check extracted forms in the Task definition editor and change them in the Form editor if required to improve accuracy of task definitions.
  3. Set task definitions in the Task definition editor and cut logs into timelines.
  4. Specify the cost of tasks to determine how much money you can save by automation.
  5. Check automation-suitable tasks using the Automation Candidates table and the Candidates Distribution chart.
  6. Analyze tasks using built-in modules and tools.
