The onboarding process for the first user has been improved. Setting up the [email protected] account is no longer required; instead, a URL is provided to set up the initial root user in the format <https://<web_uri>/setup>. The first user onboarded on the server will be the first administrator who will be able to grant admin rights to other users via the Admin > Users tab.

When adding users via the Admin > Users tab, the sign-up token for a user now automatically displays under Users > Info once the new user details have been saved. Once the user has received the token and URL in the format https://<web_uri>/signup?token=<signup_token> from the admin, they can access the TrustPortal server and sign up.

The user onboarding process via SAML2 now allows custom parameters such as employee ID, virtual role, or any other employee details to be entered.

The Administrator role is no longer removed when resetting user information for the last outstanding admin in the system. Previously, it was possible to reset the last admin user and accidentally remove all admins from the system. The last outstanding admin will no longer have access to the previous encrypted data if they change their password.

The Root, Manager, and Underwriter roles have been removed.

The Administrator role can now be assigned to more than one user.

A custom language and date format can now be specified when creating users via the Blue Prism Users VBO. Previously, only users could change these settings on their user profile, and administrators could set the language and date format for a whole configuration only, as opposed to individual users.

The Blue Prism VBOs used in TrustPortal have been improved to match TrustPortal Best Practices while maintaining backwards compatibility as follows:

• Removed obsolete VBO example processes.
• Refactored all tile and forms to contain appropriate titles and messages for the examples.
• Updated all examples to make the actions layout consistent with the forms in which they are displayed.
• Restructured compound tables to have schema collection and data collection stages to render a compound table in the user interface.
• The Post a Message example process has been replaced by the Create a Simple Message example process.

• The Validators VBO is no longer included in the bprelease file.

The agent URL input parameter is now available in all VBO actions that use it. If left blank, the default TrustPortal Agent URL environment variable is used.

The Get By Id action in the Attachments VBO has been fixed and published to allow getting a tp_file with the ID as an input parameter.

The following changes have been made to the Users VBO:

• The Create, Reset Password, and Change Password actions now validate password complexity.
• The Validate Password and Get Password Policy actions have been added to validate password complexity separately.

• The Reset Password action now marks previous user documents as deleted to prevent an error message requesting signatures for data sets from displaying erroneously.

• The Create action now populates title, phone, date format, and language details in the user's profile. Validation has also been added for the title.
• The Get By Id and Get By Name actions now return split parameters as well as the JSON combined output. Additionally, these actions can retrieve information for users that have been created via the user interface but who have not logged in for the first time.
• The Get Details By Id and Get Details by Name actions now return an error message when the searched user does not exist in the database.
• Validation has been added for the Delete By ID and Delete By Name actions to prevent the users robot_send_user, robot_receive_user, application_user, and [email protected] from being erroneously deleted.

Several deprecated VBO actions and environment variables have been deleted, such as:

• Users Management CRUD action in the Interactive Forms and TrustPortalEvents VBOs.

• Update Configuration action in the TrustPortal Events VBO.

• Unit Test actions group in the Interactive Forms and TrustPortalEvents VBOs

• Download Resource, Update Action Workers and Delete Message to TrustPortal Agent action in the Interactive Forms VBO.

• Add XML To Queue, Download Resource and Update Item actions in the TrustPortalEvents VBO.

• The Use Agent Polling environment variable.

The following changes have been made to the Interactive Forms VBO:

• A new input parameter called Column Attributes has been added to Create Simple Table and Create Simple Compound Table actions to allow customizing columns.
• The Delete Message to Trust Portal Agent and Send Form to Trust Portal Agent actions now return a HTTP request result to the TrustPortal agent.

• The Get Next TrustPortal Queue Item action no longer allows the TrustPortal Agent to be polled if there are no queue names specified, as this allows some processes to incorrectly receive messages destined for specific digital workers.

• The Send Message action now allows passing special characters such as ' (apostrophe) and displays them properly in the browser.

• The Get Next TrustPortal Queue Item action now displays date fields correctly in Blue Prism. Previously, the conversion from JSON to a date field in the Blue Prism Utility - Collection Manipulation and Utility - JSON VBOs did not display the date in the correct format. Additionally, a concurrency issue in this action has now been fixed so Blue Prism can manage queues as expected.

  The workarounds implemented to fix the date deserialization issue mentioned above need to be removed before upgrading to 1.6.24.

• The Send Action Details action has been improved to allow sending tp_action_details as well as the form name.

• An Allowed Mime Types input has been added to the Attachment action.

• An Agent URL input has been added to the Send Form to TrustPortal Agent action.

• The Hide Number Stepper input has been removed from the Currency Field action as it was not used in the user interface.

• The Required parameter has been removed from simple tables as it was not used in the Code stage.

• The P‍laceholder and Hide Placeholder inputs in the MultiValue Slider have been removed as they were not used in the user interface.

The following changes have been made to the TrustPortalEvents VBO:

• The VBO now calls the TrustPortal agent using HTTPClient instead of WebRequest.

• Validation has been added to the Update Object and Delete Object actions to prevent users from updating or deleting application configurations.

• The Send Reply action can now send replies to any form type, including tp_action_details forms.

• The Destination Users input has been removed from the Create TrustPortal Queue Item action as all queue_items should now be sent to robot_send_user to be decrypted by the TrustPortal agent.

The following VBO example processes have been added or updated as follows:

• The Create a Simple Text Field with Blue Prism Queues example process has been added to show how a TrustPortal process can be designed to run with Blue Prism queues.

• The Create a Simple Compound Table example process now renders the fields in three different columns with different column attributes for an improved experience.

A new Utility - JSON Manipulation VBO with two actions, Query JSON and Parser, has been added to this release to improve the way the TrustPortal JSON is managed.
