Set up the TrustPortal root user

1. Once the TrustPortal installation is complete, enter a URL in the format https://<INSTANCE NAME>.<FQDN CN>/setup in a browser, for example https://serviceassist.local.net/setup

2. Enter your email address in the Username field and click Setup root user.

   

3. You will be redirected to a registration page. Enter your details, set a password and click Sign up.

   

   You now have access to the admin user interface.

For Single Sign-on (SSO) users, the root user is the first user connecting to the server, who can then create other users via the admin user interface. For more information, see SSO configurationSSO configuration.
