Interval measurements

Main use

The Interval panel allows users to specify two activities and then calculate the time between them. Since there could be several consecutive events of the same activity, the user should specify how to handle such cases.

To use this tool, select the Analyze > Interval measurements menu.

Overview

Defining from and to

To define the From configuration, you first have to specify the activity, using the standard activity selector in a popup window. Then you may change the configuration for If multiple, use which is the drop-down list with two options:

• First one
• Last one

Exactly the same configuration is available for the To configuration.

Once From and To are defined, you can see the histogram, and specify the breakdown dimension and view the Trellis charts.

Creating filters

You can create the filter on the time interval using the histogram sliders. You can also create a filter by dimension.
