Reports – Accuracy

The accuracy reports enable you to view the accuracy of the data being processed by Decipher IDP during document classification and data capture.

These reports are populated with data stored in the separate reporting database. The reports will not populate if the database has not been created. You are given the option to create this database when installing Decipher Server.

Classification Accuracy

The Classification Accuracy report shows the level of accuracy of data classification for each batch of documents. To create a classification accuracy report, select Reports > Accuracy > Classification.

The non-standard data in this report is detailed below:

Column Description

Page accuracy

This is derived using the following calculation: (correct pages - deleted pages) / (number of pages - deleted pages).

Documents correct

The number of documents for which the document type or document ID were not changed during or after class verification.

Documents changed

The number of documents that were added or merged, or for which the document type were changed during or after class verification.

Documents deleted

The number of deleted documents in this batch.

Document accuracy

This is derived using the following calculation: (correct documents - deleted documents) / (number of documents - deleted documents).

Data Capture Accuracy

The Data Capture Accuracy report shows the level of accuracy of data capture for each document. To create a data capture accuracy report, select Reports > Accuracy > Data Capture.

The non-standard data in this report is detailed below:

Column Description

Field count

The number fields in the document containing data. This includes the number of table cells containing data.

Fields correct

The number of fields containing captured data that were not changed by the user.

Fields correct edited

Fields with low confidence character changes only.

Fields incorrect

Fields that were completely changed by the user.

Fields deleted

Fields where the user deleted the captured data and left the field empty.

Fields added

Empty fields to which the user added data.

Document accuracy

This is derived using the following calculation: (correct fields + fields with only character changes) / (field count).
