Step limitations

This page lists the number of steps (screenshots) supported by Enterprise for BP® Capture based on the RAM of the system. It should be noted that if the total number of steps exceed the stated, stability of the product cannot be guaranteed.

Number of screenshots supported

The following table provides a breakdown, based on the system RAM, of the maximum number of steps (screenshots) supported by Capture. If the total number of steps of your process exceed the stated, stability of the product cannot be guaranteed.

The limits shown in the table are guidelines, the actual limit may differ depending on available system memory and screenshot file size.

Further information

• Full RAM usage may cause unpredictable errors, such as, application closure, export fail, white screen error.
• An error is displayed when the process .json is more than 500Mb.
• Average screenshot file size was 350kB.
• The total number of screenshots for Overall Limit was calculated using average screenshot file size and maximum .json limit.
