For a full list of features and updates, see the release notes.

Blue Prism Hub 4.6

The following changes are available in Blue Prism Hub 4.6 compared version 4.3.

Single sign-on using Active Directory

Active Directory authentication is now supported through Authentication Server, enabling users to use single sign-on to log into Blue Prism, Hub, and Interact. Active Directory users and security groups can be added to roles within Hub, providing users with access to the required plugins.

Updated user interface

The user interface has been further refined to improve usability, readability, and consistency.

Blue Prism Interact 4.6

The following changes are available in Blue Prism Interact 4.6 compared version 4.3.

Purge on Submission

This allows the designers of the Interact form to prevent the data entered in a field by a user from being stored in the Interact database upon the form being submitted.

Text Area

Text Area has been added to allow for a multi-line text box with a 3500-character limit to be included on Interact forms.

Additional audit events

The following audit events are now tracked and logged in the Audit section of Hub:

  • Form created
  • Form edited
  • Form deleted
  • Form major version increase
  • Form submitted – including form data
  • Form submitted (via API)

Multiple Interact API clients

Multiple service accounts can now be created in Hub that can be given the Interact Remote API permission.

Updated Interact Remote API

Version 2.0 of the Interact Remote API is included with Blue Prism Cloud 2022-1. This includes new endpoints and additional functionality.

Users can deploy forms

Users who design forms using the Interact plugin can now assign forms to existing roles without the need for administrator privileges. This enables Interact form designers to quickly deploy forms straight into Interact, rather than requiring a Hub administrator to deploy the form.

Exclude submitter

This enables Interact form designers to prevent a user from being able to approve their own submission.

Blue Prism Automated Lifecycle Management 4.6

Updated user interface

The user interface has been further refined to improve usability and readability when modifying process definitions, wireframes, exceptions, and templates.

Import Capture process definitions

Import process definitions exported from Blue Prism Capture as JSON files into Automated Lifecycle Management. This enables ALM users to quickly and efficiently transfer a process definition without manually documenting the steps.
